The Holy Grail of Jordans

Its not everyday you come across a pair of Holy Grails. Well, everyone has their own " Holy Grail" but in my opinion this is probably one of the most popular "Grail" shoes there are made by Jordan. It has been retroed twice, but none can compare to the original.

Folks, we present to you the 1995 Very Very Original Jordan XI 11 "Breds."

These were part of a consigment drop off. The seller didn't just drop off one pair, but a good size run from size 7.5-9.5

He said, they were in his storage since 1995, and the dust on the box proves it. This was my personal first time touching such a old shoe. My first impression after holding them was the quality, none of the boxy card board feeling from the newer retro 11s.

A closer look at the Jordan VII Bordeaux / New Logo in the works

A busy shoe weekend for most..
The Jordan XII Retro Low Taxi's came out this past Saturday along with the Kobe VI Chaos. Personally not a fan of either, last year's version of the Chaos looked much more appealing. This year they labeled the Chaos a supreme shoe ( using supreme materials on the shoe ) gives Nike the reason to mark up the price by $20. The retail was $150.
The Taxi XII on the other hand was a QS and there wasn't much hype around the QS. Hopefully Jordan brand and Nike is learning that the consumers are slowly not falling into the "quickstrike " hype.
Congrats to who got either or both pairs this weekend!

Mikkol88.com update! We are close to our final version. Let us know what you think! Who can guess what shape shoe this represents? Any comments and suggestions are welcomed!

For the upcoming weeks, there will be a lot of hype drawing up to April 16, 2011. The Jordan VII Bordeaux is set to retro for the first time in Jordan Brand history. Many shoe collectors may not have even been born when Jordan first wore these shoes. So this one will bring out the old school and the new school shoe heads. Be sure to call your normal pick up spots and reserve in advance or line up a bit earlier than normal because this one shouldn't sit too long. They do not come in gradeschool sizes so only Men's!
