New AJ XIII White/Red 13 Pics!!

The new white/red AJ 13 set to release in December 2010 is now here. We have a full review and pictures. Feel free to check them out and share. If you are interested in purchasing your pair early, we have them at our webstore for $235 shipped. Size 8, 8.5, 12 is sold out so don't wait! www.Mikkol88.com

The outter shoe shape is very similar to the Flint 13, they most likely used the same shoe mold for this shoe. However the craftsmanship of this shoe is not up to par compared to the Flint 13s. There are more noticable glue stains on the white/red 13s than the flints. You can call them early release problem but lets be real, when it comes out in December they will have the same problem. Nevertheless this shoe is again another classic and I personally stocked one pair for the future. I will warn everyone ( the people that keep their shoes ) this shoe is 95% likely to bleed from the suede to the white. I already noticed a minor bleeding on some of the shoes.

I hope I don't turn people away from purchasing this great classic. It is what it is and Jordan brand now these days will continue to mark up the retail price, but their quality will continue to decrease. We as loyal customers of JB will continue to pay the retail price nevertheless for great colorway class retros like this one. I myself cannot pass up this shoe even with the quality issue.

This particular pair is a size 9.5 and it has a slight glue stain on the inside part of the shoe. Shown on the bottom. Because of this minor defect, the price on my eBay is taking $15 off.

Sneaker Review of 2010 AJ 13 Flints w/ Pics!

As promised we now have pictures of the 2010 Flints worn after 2 days for about 8-10 hours.
It was worn as casual and not used to play basketball or any other sport. I wouldn't suggest that with any new Jordan Retro these days. Thats what Team Jordans are for. The front toe box leather is much softer than the first retro, so I expected it would crease more. However that was not the case. There was minimal creasing to the front, but the rear of the shoe had more creasing. It is harder to see because of the material in the back. Just don't force your foot into the shoe and it won't crease the back. Overall the feel of the shoe is great, it is lighter and doesn't have that boxy feel. Check out the pictures to judge for yourself!

Sneaker Review of 2010 AJ 13 Flints

Shoes: AJ 13 Retro 2010 Flints
Release date: Nov 2010
This shoe is an instant classic. They will be releasing Thanksgiving weekend, "Black Friday" most likely should be the anticipated date. With the holiday kick off that day, this shoe will be one of the items on many people's list. I personally owned a pair and had it put away ever since I purchased it. However last year when I opened to take a look at the shoe, the sides were bleeding purple. This is a common problem for Flint 13s, so when I found out this year that the Flints will be re-retroing I know for sure to wear them.

Quality is not the same as the 2005 retro. Of coarse its not, if you compare anything from 2005 to 2010 it will be different. Time has changed but our standards as sneaker heads and collectors haven't. We will just have to adjust to Nike's standard. Also this year there is a $10 increase in the shoe. Many may say well its just a $10 increase and there is inflation but honestly I don't believe Nike should be nick picking and adding a $10 just to hurt our wallets more. Nevertheless the shoes will most likely sell out and won't sit on shelves too long.

We will post pictures of the worn 2010 to see how it holds up so far. Remember if you want to get your pair early for a little bit more.. Click here to purchase the Flint 2010s early
Your order will ship within 2 weeks!

2010 Pearl Foamposites Releasing This Friday

Friday Sept 3 marks the day of another Retro of a old Foamposite Classic! The "Pearl Foams" are coming out again!
Retail price is $200 and they are somewhat of a general release, but Nike is calling it a "limited release" who knows how big the hype is.

Nonetheless we have them on our webstore for order: Pearl Foamposites Direct link.

Here is a brief review of the overall classic. The material is excellent, and comparing it to the older retro the quality is not bad. The soles are super icey, and hopefully they stay that way. I personally never enjoyed playing basketball with the "foamposites" its too big and bulky for my taste. They fit a bit smaller than the first retro, so beware when you are purchasing. Here are more detailed pictures for everyone to enjoy!
